Hi! My name is Dr. Hiep Duong. I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. I enjoy practicing all scopes of optometry, but especially fitting specialty contact lenses for complex eye diseases like keratoconus. I spent the past several years working at an ophthalmology office in Dallas, TX where I co-managed cataract surgeries and laser procedures. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and providing exceptional eye care. I strive to get to know you and help you to find the best pair of glasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses to suit your lifestyle.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and hanging out with my friends, family, and puppy, Archie!

Julie DeMaggio

Hello! My name is Dr. Julie DeMaggio. I am a Michigan native, but have been practicing optometry in Texas for nearly a decade. I love seeing patients of all ages, especially families and children. Being highly near-sighted myself, I strive for my patients to see well and feel stylish in their eyewear. I specialize in pediatrics and myopia control and believe in innovative and preventative approaches to treating eye conditions. I understand how much eye health and appearance impacts the quality of your life and look forward to meeting your eye care needs.

Aside from getting to know my patients, I enjoy running, traveling, baking, and spending time with my friends, family, and puppy Archie!

Meet Joseph, our eyewear consultant and optical lab manager at EEC! He can style and complete a pair of glasses in the same day for you!

Hello, my name is Joseph Valero. I'm a Texas native. I started out in the optical lab in 2005. I obtained my certification as a technician and eventually earned my position as Lab Manager. After 5 years I left my position to pursue and develop a career in the culinary arts. I was fortunate enough to work in a bakery learning the process of artisanal bread making and the art of delicate patisseries, which lead me to a high end private dining kitchen. I hope to deliver a wonderful experience helping you find the perfect pair of glasses to fit you and your lifestyle.

When I'm not assisting patients, you may often find me in nature hunting fossils, writing a scene for an table-top RPG, or drinking coffee.
